Bend Pine Nursery

I have buying trees from Bend Pine for 8 years. Up until now I would of given them a 5 star. But something has changed, I bought a cedar tree from them and they said it was fine for my area. I made it through one winter and died the next fall no refund.I just bought a tree for $200 to find that they had dug it up in the Mt. Hood forest. The small tree didn't make it a month, the replaced it with a new tree coming from the same location, and now it is showing signs of failure. Also, I bought 2 plants several years ago, and bought one a month ago for double the price, which I later found at Walmart for half again the price I paid at Bend Pine nursery. Yikes, they are good people, hopefully they get back to where they were before.

They advertised a big liquidation sale on a mailer we received. So we went in the very next morning only to find that virtually nothing was on sale. What a waste of time.

My friend recommended this nursery to me and I came here with my daughter's. I was looking for viburnum and cherry trees, which I was pleasantly surprised they carried multiple varieties of each. The staff were friendly and immediately greeted us and asked how we could be helped. My girls loved their grounds, especially their trampoline 😂. They have lots to offer - should be able to find something for any home landscaping project.

This is a wonderful nursery and has so much variety and beauty. We are fortunate to have family that live close by and I have always wanted to stop by when we are in town visiting them. I found the Ponderosa pines I had been looking for and we were amazed at all of the neat looking trees. I would highly recommend this nursery and found the staff to be extremely helpful and attentive when needed. I also enjoyed the fact that they just let me stumble around with a map of the place and take a look at everything at my leisure. I look forward to buying more from here in the future.

Edit to spring 2024. I can’t thank Bend Pine Nursery enough for our tree and flower children. We had an amazing success and all of our plants survived a whole year. They are thriving and beautiful and we followed BPN instructions to a t and it shows. My wildflower native garden is coming back strong with sprinklings of native grasses and doing its job of choking out weeds. Again thank you and we hope to be back in the near future for some fruiting trees!!! We are new tree parents and we have just worked with Bend Pine Nursery. We went on Mother’s Day with just a few ideas in mind but we didn’t really know very much. Sarah was so friendly and is truly the “tree expert and goddess” and was able to help my family pick out some stuff. They are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging. I love that we we’re able to find and experience this place. You can tell the trees are happy and healthy which is reassuring when you are spending hard earned money for such beautiful specimens. We were under the impression of trees being really really expensive but we’re surprised at how affordable their trees were, even big ones. After purchasing our plants we were able to go home and prep
